What Is Pet Play?
Pet play is a form of roleplay within the BDSM and kink communities where individuals take on the personas of animalsāwhether it’s a puppy, kitten, pony, or something more exotic. Some enjoy the headspace and freedom of embodying an animal, while others find fulfillment in the dynamics between pets and their handlers or owners. Like all kink and fetish practices, pet play is rooted in consent, communication, and mutual respect.
At its core, pet play is about expression, trust, connection, and joy. It can be sexual or non-sexual, playful or intense, structured or freeformāthereās no single way to engage in pet play, and we celebrate all healthy, consensual expressions of it.
